Director of Marketing

What will I be doing?
  • Shape and scale Kaluza's future-state marketing function from the ground up, establishing a clear narrative "north star" across brand, comms, content, and events.
  • Execute hands-on across the full marketing lifecycle, personally crafting thought leadership and producing high-craft content without leaning heavily on external agencies.
  • Crafting and maintaining the company narrative and storytelling, from northstar overarching company position through to granular level materials and maintaining high grade company messaging throughout. 
  • Maintain complete ownership of brand equity, visual identity, and content distribution channels to ensure high message quality rather than high-volume noise.
  • Shape and deliver an end-to-end communications, PR, and physical events strategy that builds real-world brand presence and industry authority.
  • Champion AI enablement across design, editing, and production workflows to boost output quality and speed without sacrificing authenticity.
  • Hire, develop, and mentor an agile team across comms, content, and events, embedding a shared appetite for AI-empowered execution.
About YouIdeally you'll have/be:
  • Proven track record leading full-cycle marketing within a high-growth, small-to-medium B2B SaaS environment.
  • World class storytelling and marketing communication skills, completed by excellent personal communications skills including high presence speaker capability.  
  • Exceptional storytelling and hands-on content production skills, with a track record of transforming technical software concepts into compelling content.
  • End-to-end expertise spanning brand identity, comms, PR, event strategy, and content distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire and manage high-performing team members across communications, events, and content disciplines.
  • Practical experience using AI tools across design, editing, and content workflows to enhance creative velocity and production standards.

  • Direct experience in energy technology, climate tech, or complex B2B infrastructure software.
  • A strong portfolio of self-produced content, video, or published thought leadership showcasing high craft and narrative clarity.
