Role

The Director of Marketing, Retail, Aman Essentials will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, increase sales, and enhance brand visibility across retail, e-commerce, social and PR channels. The Director of Marketing, Retail role will be based in our London Corporate Office potentially relocating to Dubai Corporate Office in 2027, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the annual retail marketing and communications plan, including product launches and integrated campaigns
  • Manage external agencies (creative, PR, social) and oversee the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials
  • Lead marketing budget planning, forecasting, and ROI tracking across retail initiatives
  • Support retail team training, internal presentations, and development of pitch materials for wholesale and partnerships
  • Drive brand consistency across all properties, integrating sustainability into product development and messaging
  • Develop CRM-led strategies, co-marketing initiatives, and events to drive customer engagement and sales growth
  • Manage digital strategy including social media, content calendars, and e-commerce performance and growth initiatives
  • Oversee website optimisation, EDM campaigns, and paid media to enhance customer experience, acquisition, and conversion
  • Lead PR activities including agency management, media events, influencer partnerships, and press materials
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting on marketing performance, budgets, and campaign effectiveness to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Excellent marketing and communication skills
  • At least 10 years previous experience working in luxury retail marketing, with a fashion or beauty background 
  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies
  • Excellent verbal, writing, listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Self- motivated and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
  • Good computer skills and proficient use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint
