Director, Loyalty Strategy Consulting Sales (Central Europe)
Mastercard Services is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge solutions that help our customers achieve their objectives. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, our services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, data-driver platforms, and cyber security solutions. Mastercard Services comprises a diverse and dynamic team of experts who enjoy working in a goal-oriented and collaborative culture.
We are looking for a senior, consultative sales leader to join Mastercard's Loyalty & Customer Engagement Strategy Consulting team, focused on financial institutions across Central Europe. This role sits at the intersection of strategy consulting and sales. You will lead the commercialization of high impact consulting engagements that help FIs solve complex customer acquisition, engagement, and loyalty challenges - while enabling longer-term platform partnerships across Mastercard's ecosystem. As part of a small, specialist team within a global organization, this is an entrepreneurial opportunity offering meaningful regional ownership, strong client exposure, and the chance to shape how Mastercard brings customer strategy to market.
Responsibilities
• Own and drive the growth of loyalty and customer engagement strategy consulting sales across Central Europe, acting as the primary regional owner • Lead the end-to-end sale of consulting engagements, including problem framing, scoping, pricing, and closing, in close collaboration with delivery and sales partners • Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders (VP+) at financial institutions, positioning Mastercard as a strategic advisor • Sell consulting led engagements focused on bank wide loyalty, customer engagement, and personalization strategies, rather than product only solutions • Partner closely with platform sales, product teams, and Advisors & Consulting Services to ensure consulting work unlocks broader, long-term partnerships • Remain actively engaged during delivery of select engagements to support client relationships and identify expansion opportunities • Manage and develop a healthy consulting sales pipeline, navigating ambiguity in a high growth, evolving environment
All About You
• Prior strategy consulting experience is essential, with a strong foundation in structured problem-solving • Experience working with financial institutions, ideally on customer strategy, loyalty, engagement, or growth-related initiatives • Proven ability to sell or commercialize consulting led engagements and operate credibly with senior executives • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organization • Experience translating strategic insight into commercially viable consulting opportunities • Exposure to loyalty, CRM, personalization, or lifecycle marketing is highly valued; marketing services experience is a plus • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with a high degree of ownership, curiosity, and entrepreneurial mindset
