LOCATION: London, with international travel as required
ABOUT STEVEN.COM

Steven.com is building the operating system for the trillion dollar creator economy. Today, this industry is held back by fragmented tools and a lack of professional infrastructure. Steven.com is the unlock - the end-to-end operating system designed to scale what is irreplaceably human.

We have built proprietary technology and obsessed teams to identify and scale the highest-potential creators across our core pillars:

  • Creator Media: amplifying reach, influence and trust.

  • Creator Community: transforming audiences into connected tribes.

  • Creator Products: giving creators the infrastructure to build and back aligned products and ventures.

  • Powered by Creator Tech & Intelligence: a proprietary data and technology suite that fuels smarter decisions and drives innovation across the entire flywheel.

ROLE MISSION

This is a high-trust role working hand in glove with the founder - one of the most visible entrepreneurs and media personalities in the world. Your mission: build and run a world-class founder communications programme that strengthens his reputation, expands his influence internationally, and ensures he walks into every interview, stage, partnership and public moment exceptionally prepared.

It sits at the intersection of traditional media relations, founder communications, reputation management and modern creator-led influence. You'll be the day-to-day comms lead for the founder and own the lot: media strategy and profile-building across business, technology, entrepreneurship and culture; briefing and preparation for every external moment; reputation and issues management; opportunity development from his network, travel and partnerships; and the systems that keep it all coordinated across the Chief of Staff, internal teams, agencies and external partners — often at pace and under pressure.

KEY OUTCOMES
  • The founder is exceptionally prepared. Every interview, keynote, partnership and public moment is approached with clear strategic intent and flawless execution, backed by high-quality briefings, messaging and research.

  • A trusted partnership is built. You develop a deep understanding of his priorities, communication style and long-term ambitions - and he relies on your counsel.

  • The profile grows where it matters. Proactive media and profile opportunities strengthen his authority across business, technology, entrepreneurship and culture, including in the US and other priority international markets.

  • Relationships are real and active. Journalists, producers, editors, creators and key industry stakeholders trust you and pick up.

  • Risk is managed early. You spot emerging issues, tell genuine narrative shifts from short-term online noise, and provide calm, balanced counsel when scrutiny rises.

  • Opportunities are never missed. Moments arising from his network, meetings, partnerships and travel are spotted and fully leveraged.

  • Everything is coordinated. Comms priorities stay aligned across the Chief of Staff, Global VP, leadership, agencies and partners - with systems that improve planning, responsiveness and execution.

CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Exceptional comms judgement and strong media instincts. You know what's worth saying, where, when - and when to say nothing at all.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication.

  • Fluent across both worlds - traditional media and modern creator-led communications.

  • Calm, organised and highly effective under pressure.

  • A natural relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Credible counsel. Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and holding your line when it counts.

  • Strategy and delivery in equal measure. You think long-range and you'll update the briefing doc yourself.

  • Proactive and opportunity-focused. You go looking; you don't wait to be asked.

  • High attention to detail and strong operational discipline.

  • Low ego and highly collaborative - motivated by team success, not personal visibility.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Discreet and trustworthy. You handle sensitive information with maturity and professionalism.

YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF
  • You enjoy operating close to decision-makers and helping them perform at their best.

  • You're equally comfortable building a media strategy and updating a briefing document at midnight before an interview.

  • You can move seamlessly between long-term reputation building and immediate problem solving.

  • You understand that great founder communications is about anticipation, preparation and judgement - not your own visibility.

  • You're curious, resourceful and energised by the chance to build something exceptional.

IDEAL BACKGROUND
  • Significant experience in communications, corporate affairs, reputation management, publicity or founder communications.

  • Experience working closely with founders, senior executives, talent or public-facing leaders.

  • A strong understanding of both traditional media and modern creator-led communications.

  • A track record in fast-moving, high-performance environments where judgement and discretion are essential.
