Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Netflix has built a number of partnerships with companies, from mobile and fixed line network operators to CE device manufacturers and distributors, that help us deliver the Netflix experience around the world. These partnerships have been instrumental in accelerating Netflix’s global growth story and today they impact millions of members. In EMEA, we have partnered with leading Pay TV and telecommunication companies such as Sky in the UK, Telefonica in Spain, Orange in France, Deutsche Telekom in Germany and many others.

We are seeking an experienced, curious, and selfless leader to lead our Partnerships Finance & Strategy team in EMEA. This team provides strategic, financial, and analytical support to our Partnerships organization. Partnerships are a key contributor to our mission to bring entertainment to the world and play a significant role in our membership and revenue growth.  Our Partnerships team negotiates deals with operators, device manufacturers, app stores,  and other types of partners to expand the distribution and reach of Netflix (e.g., via telco bundles) and ensure that all of our members can have the best Netflix experience, regardless of the device they watch on.

The Partnerships Strategy & Finance team helps define Netflix's overall Partnerships strategy, evaluates new partnership opportunities through robust analysis, and supports our Business Development leaders in their negotiations with partners. We also work closely with our Product and Partner Engagement teams to identify changes in the Netflix experience to improve the business impact from partnerships.

This is a senior role that requires strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, a proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate effectively in highly cross-functional settings, a Regional mindset to help shape our partnerships across regions, and an ability to drive innovative thinking and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Regional/ Central responsibilities: owns Regional consistency across financial operations (deal modeling, business case frameworks, standardized metrics) with support from regional teams

  • Cross-functional support: primary interface and coordination point with Partner Product and cross-functional analytics team (Data & Insights), helping coordinate and manage learning agenda with support from the regions

  • Team & organizational leadership: Inspires and manages a high-performing team while building a healthy, forward-thinking culture. Sets a clear vision and direction for the team, with experience managing regionally and across a matrixed organization.

  • Regional/global stakeholder management: Manages a combination of EMEA and global stakeholders — maintaining close regional engagement while upholding strong connectivity to global Partnerships strategy. Comfortably pivots between EMEA-specific priorities on bundles and global priorities such as  Consumer Electronics and Content Aggregation partnerships, adjusting altitude and focus as the moment requires. Builds trusted, credible relationships at every level of the organization as a collaborative thought partner and connector.

  • Partnerships Operations: Serves as the go-to person for strategic support on Partnerships Operations in order to drive global & regional consistency, engaging across cross-functional projects ranging from new deal types to emerging product needs.

  • Execution: Strong project management instincts; delivers organized, high-quality work across complex, multi-threaded projects.

Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of experience in strategic and analytical roles in areas related to Partnerships / Growth / GTM in consumer tech

  • Experience working with and advising Partnerships / Business Development organizations

  • Proven track record of leading, inspiring, and building highly effective teams across several locations

  • Ability to identify key questions; define, perform, and coordinate analyses; communicate findings in a clear and concise way; and find creative and innovative solutions

  • Strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems.

  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain strong self-discipline
