Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Develop strategic plans for on-prem compute, virtualization, and data center footprint aligned to business objectives.

  • Partner with senior leaders and teams in both enterprise IT and our commercial segments to ensure alignment and development of scalable services.

  • Own end-to-end operations across enterprise data centers and colocation facilities (power, cooling, space, physical security).

  • Lead engineering and lifecycle management of server infrastructure including procurement, deployment, patching and retirement.

  • Own enterprise virtualization platforms and cluster operations ensuring stability, scalability, and operational consistency across all sites.

  • Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure platform services while embracing emerging technologies and new ways of working.

  • Ensure enterprise compute and data center services comply with industry compliance frameworks along with data sovereignty, privacy and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain a strong compliance posture by implementing best practice industry standards for access management, data protection, network and security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve operational maturity and service quality.

  • Own and manage compute and data center budget, including forecasting, tracking and reporting.

  • Proactively engage and partner with vendors and service providers to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery for business objectives.

  • Lead, mentor and grow high-performing compute and data center teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

Qualifications
  • This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Technical Product Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Demonstrated ability to align infrastructure strategy with business outcomes, including cost optimization, and risk reduction.

  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and workload placement strategies.

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L drivers such as consumption economics, chargeback/showback, vendor negotiations, and ROI justification.

  • Track record of influencing senior executives and business stakeholders, translating technical capabilities into clear value propositions.

  • Demonstrated success in managing infrastructure costs and implementing FinOps practices.

  • Curious and forward-thinking, with a strong interest in leveraging AI/ML and other emerging technologies to drive innovation.
