This Director of Colleague Data Science & Analytics sits within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG) function and reports to the Vice President, Colleague Data Office. The Director will lead the global HR analytics function, delivering insightful analytics with an eye on risk management and process efficiencies. This is a highly visible role with enterprise-wide impact, requiring a leader who can manage various stakeholder demands.

This role requires expertise in HR analytics, experience interpreting stakeholder requirements and delivering valuable analysis. The Director will drive innovation, re-think existing processes, and leverage emerging technologies. Success will require strategic vision, hands-on technical expertise, and a relentless focus on execution to deliver scalable analytics solutions that drive business impact. 

Responsibilities
  • Champion a forward-thinking analytics strategy that leverages advanced methodologies, automation frameworks, and emerging technologies (e.g. AI); drive innovation in HR analytics.
  • Translate business questions into data-driven strategies and scalable analytical solutions that support decision-making, workforce planning, and colleague experience initiatives.
  • Drive operational excellence in day-to delivery of recurring and ad hoc analytics requests, with attention to quality, timeliness, and excellence.
  • Anticipate and manage evolving team demands, guiding the organization toward consistent operational success and customer support excellence.
  • Identify gaps in data availability/quality and influence partner teams to mitigate.
  • Lead and coach a team of technical experts to deliver innovative solutions. Provide hands-on leadership in technical development, including Python scripting, data manipulation, and workflow automation.
  • Respond to emerging needs, listening to stakeholders and influencing partner teams to deliver automated/self-serve solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, Technology, Product, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in HR processes and programs.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in data science, including proficiency in data analysis, scripting, and automation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data platforms (e.g., SQL, cloud environments).
  • Experience applying predictive modeling, machine learning, or GenAI capabilities.
  • Experience building a team of analytical experts by providing technical guidance and coaching while enabling them proactively and independently solve complex business questions.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Leadership experience, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, bringing new ideas into practical, business-ready solutions.
  • Track record of driving innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
