We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Client Insights and Innovation to join our Asset Servicing, Client Coverage team. This role is located in London, United Kingdom – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Leads consultations with clients / prospects on their strategic vision and uses an in-depth understanding of the firm's solutions and value proposition to help achieve that vision. Responsible for proactive and commercially focused optimization of client relationships in order to increase or retain revenue.

  • Delivers the full value of the firm by leveraging deep knowledge of the firm's product offerings and how they can best meet client needs with a solutions orientation. Ideates bundled cross-product offerings customised to the client's specific needs. Fosters a constructive feedback loop with clients to ensure BNY solutions an optimal design and can deliver on requirements.

  • Evaluates and structures deal (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm's commercial objectives and risk appetite. 

  • Leads cross-collaboration engagements internally and connects the dots across the firm. Remains intellectually curious about products within the firm to keep informed and up to date on all firm offerings. Works closely with product partners to identify and develop new or emerging markets or capabilities for the firm to enter where appropriate.

  • Works with broader client coverage team to manage the sales lifecycle with a specific focus on operating model discovery, design, and client value. 

  • Leads third party vendor relationships to assess, explore and commercialise opportunities.

  • Engages and converses with industry consultants.

  • Conducts research, compiles analyses and summarizes information for reports and correspondences.

  • Supports other team activities which may include go-to-market collateral, administration etc.

  • Provides guidance / mentorship to less experienced CI&I team members, and support to peers as required. 

  • Provides thought leadership and industry expertise to clients and prospects at industry roundtables, conferences, client events, webinars and more.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced / graduate degree preferred.

  • Financial Services experience is essential. Sufficient years of total work experience preferred. Preferred experience in asset servicing and prior experience in a related client-facing role, sales support or product related role.

  • Experienced communicator with C-suite, key influencers and decision-makers.

  • A good understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape and industry drivers in the relevant region is preferred.

  • Applicable local / regional licences or certifications as required by the business.
