Drive Morningstar Direct sales growth by converting trials, acquiring new business, expanding existing accounts, and increasing solution adoption. Build client relationships, identify business needs, present tailored recommendations, deliver product demonstrations, develop account and territory growth plans, forecast opportunities, and exceed sales targets while collaborating with internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Exceed growth targets.
- Work with General Sales to bring Morningstar Direct opportunities from trial to close.
- Forecast, identify, and proactively uncover new business groups and opportunities within new and existing clients and segments.
- Develop key relationships with clients and prospects through proactively uncovering their business needs and challenges and presenting recommendations on how our solution offerings fit into their overall goal and strategies
- Employ winning strategies to maintain and grow adoption of Morningstar Direct and leverage the installed user base to deploy additional solutions.
- Master product demonstrations and knowledge of product capabilities and benefits.
- Develop growth plans for accounts and territory.
- Demonstrate attitude of teamwork and relationship building within, and outside the company.
Qualifications
- A passionate interest in the financial services industry
- Candidates should have 5+ years of business development, client service consultant (CSC) and/or account management experience in the finance and investment industry.
- A proven track record of acquiring new business, successful account management, and proven track record of exceeding prior targets.
- Hands-on, organized individuals who can build long-term client relationships.
- Strong leadership, long-range planning, and time-management skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations.
- Ability to understand complex investment requirements.
- A bachelor's degree required;
- Nice to have MBA or CFA a plus.
