As the Product Owner for our Loyalty and Offers capability, you will:

Lead the development and operation of scalable, resilient backend services that support our loyalty experiences and help us build deeper connections with our customers.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the vision for your domain, aligned with the wider product and platform strategy.
  • Roadmap & Backlog Ownership: Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the team is focused on delivering value in line with strategic priorities.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering lead and architects to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with platform standards.
  • Discovery & Problem Solving: Proactively seek out information, clarify ambiguous requirements, and work with stakeholders to shape solutions.
  • Sprint Planning & Execution: Lead sprint ceremonies in partnership with your engineering team including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and analysts to formulate technical requirements that support the migration from legacy to modern platforms.
  • Performance & Adoption: Define OKRs and success metrics for your products and drive adoption and understanding of your products across consumers.

    Skills and Experience

    Essential

    • Experience in a Product Owner or Product Management role in a technical domain.
    • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and backend systems with fluency in technical conversations.
    • Ability to work in ambiguous environments, proactively seeking out information to translate evolving business needs into clear product requirements.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to impact and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of cross-team outcomes.

    Desirable

    • Experience of working in Financial Services or another regulated domain.
    • Working knowledge of the credit card industry.
    • Experience in credit cards rewards and loyalty programs.
