What will you bring?

Unum UK is hiring a Digital Product Owner to join the Proposition team. This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Unum’s proposition roadmap by delivering digital functionality within our employer journey, aligning with strategic objectives and growth targets. Collaborate with the Employer Proposition Lead and IT Delivery teams to ensure overall deliverables are met.

Your communication and effective relationship building skills will be key when partnering with stakeholders across Unum UK.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Partner with the Employer Proposition Lead to research, design, implement, and test initiatives that enhance the employer journey and drive engagement. 
•    Lead the development of digital propositions that improve experience and deliver commercial value. 
•    Act as Product Owner for key employer journeys, ensuring alignment with strategic vision and roadmap. 
•    Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to deliver digital solutions, ensuring clear communication and shared goals. 
•    Manage and prioritise the product backlog, translating strategy into actionable tasks and acceptance criteria. 
•    Deliver and maintain a roadmap aligned to strategic objectives, tracking KPIs and benefits to maximise business value.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

•    Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to partner and influence others.
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Strong project management skills with the ability to translate strategies into tasks.
•    Understanding of customer journey and needs through insights, data, analytics and external research.
•    Experience in designing and presenting initiatives.
•    Results-driven with change management skills.
