The Brands team is responsible for growing the organic traffic of brands such as The Eco Experts, Expert Market, Startups.co.uk, Tech.co and Website Builder Expert.
The department consists of:
Content team - responsible for creating and delivering a high-quality content strategy that meets organic traffic and conversion targets, and delivers a trusted and unique brand experience.
Audience team - responsible for delivering audience development strategies that grow the reach and visibility of MVF's brands. The team comprises SEO and Campaigns (PR) teams.
The Intelligence team - responsible for conducting in-depth research into key subject areas and target audiences, with the aim of building brand authority and trustworthiness as well as key client relationships.
The Role
As the Digital PR Campaigns Manager, you will be the driving force behind our brand's earned media strategy. You will lead and inspire a small team, overseeing the end-to-end execution of high-impact digital PR campaigns that deliver measurable value and significant brand coverage. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and a technical understanding of search engine optimization and media relations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Develop and own the overarching Digital PR strategy, ensuring it is fully aligned with wider departmental goals, commercial objectives, and core priorities.
  • Budget management: Manage the digital PR budget, including allocation for content assets and tools, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Stakeholder management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on strategic direction and campaign performance.

Team & Campaign Oversight
  • Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the Digital PR team (a Digital PR Specialist and Digital PR Executive), fostering a high-performance culture and facilitating their career growth.
  • Quality control & execution: Oversee and approve all major digital PR campaigns from ideation to launch, ensuring assets, data, and outreach pitches meet the highest quality and compliance standards.

Advanced Media & Insight
  • High-level relationship management: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with Tier 1 journalists, major publications, and industry key opinion leaders that drive significant, high-authority placements.
  • Data-driven insight: Champion the use of data analysis to uncover unique, market-moving stories and insights that fuel highly competitive, link-worthy campaigns.
  • Reporting & measurement: Define and refine the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team. Present comprehensive, strategic performance reports and actionable insights to executive leadership.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Digital PR, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Demonstrable success in conceiving, leading, and scaling multi-channel digital PR campaigns that have delivered substantial commercial results and high-value placements.
  • Understanding of search principles and the strategic role of earned media in improving overall domain authority and organic visibility.
  • Leadership and management skills, with proven experience in team building, performance management, and developing junior talent.
  • Analytical and reporting skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, strategic narratives for a non-technical audience.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, MuckRack and Canva) and experience in leveraging data visualization tools for reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch ideas and results to senior executive teams and present at department townhalls.
