GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Colebrook Bosson Saunders (CBS) requires a vibrant and forward-thinking Digital and Social Marketing Manager to continually improve and drive CBS’ digital and social offering through a variety of channels including traditional and new media. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand, drive forward the digital offer to ensure we are leading across all platforms and constantly challenging and implementing improvements across the business.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC)
  • Build and maintain CBS brand presence across our multiple owned social media channels
  • Create, execute and monitor digital marketing campaigns and budget.
  • Measure key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment
  • Coordinating with the marketing managers to identify innovative growth strategies within our digital market.
  • Collaborate with our third-party agencies to identify customer touchpoints and assess end-to-end customer experience across our digital channels.
  •  Work closely with the Marketing team on the implementation of the global company marketing strategy and annual plan.
  •  Manage and maintain current company website, digital platforms and social media channels - advising on new areas of development in support of wider social media content strategy to drive commercial growth.
  • Content creation and upkeep of the company website in line with wider digital marketing strategy.
  • Produce data driven monthly digital reports around company website, social media and digital campaigns and make recommendations with defined actions plans around improvements and new initiatives.
  •  Ability to use Salesforce, Klavio and other key digital channels to facilitate Marketing activities.
  •  Lead and manage digital campaigns and relationships with third party digital agencies to drive traffic to the CBS website.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to plan and deliver strategic marketing initiatives and develop the roll out plan to achieve goals.
  • Analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Managing external agencies to deliver work to agreed deadlines and budgets.
  • Budget allocation, management and reporting.
  • Experience with digital tools such as content management systems (Shopify) and HTML E-shots.
  • Experience of Salesforce (Preferred)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong Digital Communication background - experience of web content creation, SEO and PPC an advantage.
  • Good designs skills with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
  • Ability to implement creative ideas from conception through to deployment.
  • Ability to communicate and understand technical issues.
  • Keeping to deadlines, able to plan ahead.
  • An interest in new technologies.

DESIRABLE

  • 3-5 Years’ experience in similar role
  • Experience with content management systems (Shopify).
  • Keep up to speed on the latest digital development.
  • Background of creating HTML E-shots.
  • Desired (but not essential) background of Salesforce (CRM system).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, social media management, or a related role.
