We’re on a mission to make migration easy.

We started building Marshmallow in 2017. Since then, we’ve grown from 3 to 700+ people, gained unicorn status, raised ~£140M over three funding rounds, turned profitable, insured millions of drivers and lent millions in car loans.

But we’re only just getting started. Our goal is to become one of the largest financial services providers in the world. Over the next 10 years we’ll grow exponentially, not only by scaling our existing products, but also by building new ones.

To achieve our goals we need incredibly ambitious, commercially driven people who never settle for ‘good enough’. Marshmallowers are hungry for autonomy and ownership, and would rather improve than coast. Everyone raises standards and has an impact, with a focus on collective success over self-interest.

We’ve created an environment where curious, tenacious people win and grow together. If that sounds motivating, this could be the place for you.

The Marketing Team

Our Marketing team is at the centre of how a fast-growing tech brand shows up in the world. We turn strategy into output that reaches people and performs - across email, social, partnerships, and the website. We're a small, fast-moving team that uses AI as a default, not an afterthought, so we can move faster, automate the manual, and spend our time on the work that actually moves the needle.

As Marketing Executive, you'll work directly with our Senior Marketing Manager and have real visibility across the full marketing operation. You'll own key partner relationships, build and ship campaigns across our owned channels, and keep our performance reporting sharp and current. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, delivers to a high standard, and is accountable for their results.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner, Influencer & Affiliate Coordination: Own the day-to-day management of our Bronze and Silver tier affiliates and influencers - tracking performance weekly, keeping the partner tracker current, and flagging anything that moves. You'll coordinate onboarding, briefing, and deliverables, prepare materials to support contract negotiations, and help spot new partnership opportunities.

  • Owned Channel Execution: Build and deploy email campaigns in Braze - copy, design, segmentation, scheduling, and QA. Own the organic social content calendar, creating educational and entertaining assets for our customers. Build campaign assets in Figma using our brand templates, and support content production for the website and SEO alongside our growth function.

  • Campaign Delivery: Coordinate campaign workstreams and timelines across stakeholders, maintain campaign trackers, QA all outgoing materials before launch, and pull post-campaign data to share reports and learnings with the team.

  • Performance Reporting & AI Tooling: Build and maintain AI-assisted reporting workflows, automating wherever possible across email, social, and affiliate dashboards. Own our weekly performance dashboards and flag underperformance or anomalies before being asked.

Who you are

  • AI-Native: You actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or equivalent) to draft copy, automate reporting, speed up research, and cut manual work. You don't wait to be told to use AI - you default to it.

  • A Builder: You ship things on time and to standard, and take pride in the output.

  • Data-Literate: You can pull, clean, and present performance data, and you know what questions to ask of it.

  • Organised: Multiple live workstreams don't faze you.

  • A Clear Communicator: You're not afraid to ask questions or challenge.

  • Commercially Curious: You want to understand your KPIs and where you can impact the business.

  • Brand-Consistent: You care that everything going out to customers meets our standards.

    What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years in a marketing, content, or digital role.

  • Hands-on CRM/email platform experience - ideally Braze.

  • Comfortable pulling and interpreting data from Looker or equivalent.

  • Strong written English.

  • Customer empathy and curiosity - you want to understand our audience and how to speak to them in a way that lands.

Nice to Have

  • Consumer tech or fintech background.

  • Social scheduling tool experience - Sprout, Buffer, Later, or native platforms.

  • Experience in Figma - able to produce campaign-ready assets independently without design support.

  • Experience working with influencers or partners.

  • Affiliate platform familiarity - Optimise or equivalent.

  • Campaign project management experience and tools - Notion or equivalent.

  • Experience writing for SEO or managing web content updates.

How success is measured

  • Execution quality: Campaigns and content land to a high standard, every time.

  • Delivery reliability: Launches happen on schedule. Workstreams stay unblocked.

  • Reporting cadence: Dashboards are current and insights are ready when needed.

  • Partner coordination: Partners feel well-managed. Comms are responsive and clear.

  • Data accuracy: Performance data shared is timely, clean, and trustworthy.

  • Proactive insight: You spot things before being asked and bring solutions, not just problems.

  • AI & tooling: Manual work is reducing. You actively bring new tools and workflows that make the team faster.

Growth

Marshmallow is growing fast, and this role grows with it. Strong performance here - sharp execution, commercial curiosity, and growing strategic instinct - is the path to a Senior Executive or channel lead role.

What the path looks like:

  • Master your channels: email, social, web, and affiliates running smoothly with minimal oversight.

  • Build your commercial instinct: understand the "why" behind every number you report.

  • Show initiative: bring ideas, spot gaps, and propose improvements before being asked.

  • Grow your AI fluency: automate more, move faster, create capacity to take on more strategic work.

Diversity of thought

We know the best ideas come from having different perspectives in the room - and we're committed to hiring fairly, regardless of background, identity or experience. If you see yourself in this role, we'd encourage you to apply.
