Position Details:

- Department: Radiology - CT
- Schedule: Per Diem, As Needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced CT procedures using appropriate protocols to aid physicians in the diagnosis of disease
- Provide compassionate, patient centered care and clear procedure explanations
- Start IVs and administer contrast safely; monitor patients throughout exams
- Optimize image quality using ALARA principles and perform basic post processing
- Verify orders, document in Epic and ensure timely PACS uploads
- Support STAT and urgent add on cases
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and Optum policies
- Maintain room readiness and assist with equipment troubleshooting
- Perform duties of radiologic technologists as required

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution or governmental unit
- Radiation Control license as a CT Technologist in Massachusetts
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- CPR certification
- 3+ years of experience in CT Technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems requiring the use of basic technical principles plus in-depth, experienced-based knowledge
- Good communication skills in order to explain instructions and procedures to patients, visitors and employees, to comfort patients and their families and to conduct formal classroom training programs
