About the Role & Team

We are seeking a motivated and analytical graduate to support our Sales and Land Acquisition teams in pricing new development opportunities and conducting comprehensive market research. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the property sales or development sector, working across sales & land strategy, competitor benchmarking, and development consultancy analysis. 

Key Responsibilities:

Land Pricing & Sales Support 

  • Assist in preparing sales pricing and analysis for new land acquisition 
    opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Land, Sales, Development, 
    Commercial, Finance) to collect and analyse relevant inputs for bid 
    submissions.
  • Support the preparation of sales forecasts and strategies for proposed 
    schemes.
  • Provide input on expected sales rates, plot by plot prices, and margin 
    assumptions based on current market trends.
  • Support with creating interior architecture & design briefs and 
    tendering process 

Competitor & Specification Research 

  • Conduct regular reviews of competitor developments, including 
    pricing, unit types, build quality, amenities, internal specification, and 
    upgrade options.
  • Benchmark specification levels against competitors to support 
    product positioning and cost/value analysis.
  • Track sales incentives and marketing strategies used by competitors 
    in the local area.
  • Maintain a competitor database with up-to-date insight on key 
    schemes and new launches. 

Amenity & Local Area Research 

  • Research and map local amenities including transport links, schools, 
    retail, leisure, healthcare, and employment hubs to assess site 
    desirability and buyer appeal.
  • Gather insights on catchment areas, school ratings, crime statistics, 
    and community infrastructure to support sales strategy and planning 
    submissions.
  • Produce site context reports to assist with both internal evaluations 
    and external presentations. 

Market Intelligence & Reporting 

  • Monitor housing market trends, demographic shifts, buyer 
    preferences, and planning policy developments.
  • Support the preparation of internal reports, presentations, and 
    dashboards summarising research findings.
  • Assist with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) mapping and visual 
    representation of research.
  • Attend competitor site visits and local consultations where relevant.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • A recent graduate in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Business, Geography, Urban Planning, Economics, or similar.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills – Strong understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and data interpretation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, research capability, and written communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in the property sector, housing market dynamics, and land development. 
  • Confident, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
  • Full UK driving license may be required depending on region/site access.
