Job Purpose:

To be a member of the DA Management team and provide reporting, processing and administrative support to the DA Management Team.


Detailed Duties:

Ensure the reporting of delegated authority business is captured and reported in accordance with Ascot protocols, to include:

  • Assist in general management and administration of Ascot’s bordereaux management systems and processes (BDX and DDM)
  • Provide assistance in the oversight of bordereaux data quality and the timely submission into BDX and DDM.
  • Assist in approving bordereaux mappings and answering queries from our outsourced processing team (PSU).
  • Provide support and guidance to Polo Works in answering bordereaux processing queries
  • Assist in obtaining outstanding bordereaux from various sources including IMR, Lineage, Broker portals.
  • Review new binding authority templates pre-bind to ensure they meet Lloyds reporting standards and raise any non-compliance. 
  • Liaise with various stakeholders internally and externally to improve timely receipt of bordereaux.
  • Review, maintain and update contract information in BDX and DDM. Including setting up of new facilities and amendments by endorsement.
  • Attend regular catch ups with outsource bordereaux processing team
  • Assist in creating and testing of new Delegated Authority MI reports
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for coverholder and binding authority performance monitoring.
  • Assist in the production of ad-hoc data requests for Underwriters and various Ascot Stakeholders.
  • Assist Data manager in producing regulatory reports and returns for DA business
