Delegated Authority Analyst
Job Summary
This role will be based in IGI’s London Office and will be situated in IGI’s Delegated Authority onboarding and renewals team.
It is an exciting time to be joining a growing delegated authority function and you will have the opportunity to support and influence Delegated Authority best practice and be part of a global team.
The successful candidate will have a background in the undertaking of Due Diligence and have proven onboarding experience of new Coverholders. Experience of TPA onboarding is advantageous as is experience in handling contracts of delegation and Line slips. Strong stakeholder management is required internally and externally.Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Undertaking Due Diligence on new Coverholders/TPA’s and following the onboarding policy framework

Assessing Due Diligence information and making recommendations

Identifying areas of concern in Due Diligence and all aspects of Delegated Authority risk and escalating accordingly

Supporting annual Due Diligence, annual compliance and contract renewals

Undertaking comprehensive written presentations to the Delegated Authority Committee

Maintaining all information in a secure, presentable fashion

Identify opportunities for improvement in respect of Due Diligence, Compliance and Onboarding in respect of emerging risks and regulation

Supporting various related additional ad hoc requests and be open to supporting the wider DA team and business when required

Adherence to the companies Delegated Authority framework at all times
Key Attributes & Professional Qualifications

A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience working in Delegated Authorities

Ideally Cert CII/Dip CII qualified

A commitment to continue your own professional development and meet CPD requirements.

Strong team player who is also able to work on own initiative

Excellent attention to detail in order to identify risks and maintain accurate and secure records.

Ability to work to deadlines, manage own priorities and perform well under pressure.
