Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About your team:

At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it.

We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon-footprint.

Working as part of the End-to-End Debt Strategy & Performance team you will play a key role in shaping debt performance across British Gas Business. Using data-driven insight, you'll help monitor, analyse and optimise debt outcomes, supporting everything from debt prevention and cash collection to operational efficiency and commercial performance.

As a Debt Strategy and Performance Analyst, you'll turn complex data into actionable recommendations, identifying trends, risks and opportunities that drive better business decisions and deliver sustainable reductions in the cost of debt. You'll measure the impact of strategic initiatives, track recovery performance, and help improve customer payment behaviours and bad debt outcomes.

This is a varied role with opportunities to develop expertise across areas such as Direct Debit performance, debt prevention, operational and third-party recovery performance, workflow management and debt operations, depending on business priorities and demand. If you're passionate about turning data into meaningful business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
