Join the Affluent, Core, and Emerging (ACE) Analytics team within Consumer Bank Decision Sciences, supporting the Core customer segment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys using data to answer strategic business questions, shape customer growth priorities, and influence decisions across product, marketing, pricing, distribution, and customer experience.
As an Analyst supporting the Core pillar, you will turn customer and business data into insights that inform strategy for one of the Consumer Bank’s largest segments. You will evaluate customer behavior, engagement, retention, product usage, and segment economics to identify opportunities, frame trade-offs, and guide senior stakeholder decisions. Your work will connect analytics to business priorities and help shape disciplined growth across the Core segment.
Job responsibilities
- Analyze Core customer behavior, engagement, retention, product usage, and segment economics to identify strategic opportunities
- Translate complex data into clear insights, implications, recommendations, and executive-ready presentations for business leaders
- Partner with product, marketing, finance, data science, technology, and governance teams to shape Core segment priorities
- Frame business questions, evaluate trade-offs, and support decisions related to customer growth, engagement, and retention
- Develop analytical learning agendas, deep dives, and measurement approaches that support strategic decision-making
- Build clear, compelling decks that synthesize analysis, frame decisions, and communicate strategic recommendations
- Use AI, statistics, machine learning, and visualization techniques to solve unstructured business problems
- Ensure analyses and recommendations align with business goals, risk expectations, and compliance standards
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or a Bachelor’s degree with three years of experience in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or Finance
- Demonstrate three years of experience applying statistical and machine learning methods to real-world problems
- Possess three years of experience with SQL and at least one analytical tool such as SAS, Python, or R
- Show experience with data visualization techniques for analysis and presentations (Tableau)
- Exhibit strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Communicate concisely and effectively with partners and management at all levels
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Solve complex, unstructured problems independently
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all analyses
- Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
