Job Summary:
As a Data Scientist in the International Consumer Bank, you will deliver end-to-end, cutting-edge solutions as part of a flat-structure organization. You’ll design and build cloud-native microservices applications, leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices. You’ll collaborate with agile squads focused on impactful products and projects, and your insights will help shape the future of banking for our customers.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners, research teams, and domain experts to understand business challenges
  • Provide stakeholders with timely and accurate reporting
  • Perform ad hoc analysis using diverse data sources to deliver actionable insights on product performance, customer behavior, and market trends
  • Present findings clearly and persuasively, using effective visualizations
  • Work with data engineers, machine learning engineers, and dashboard developers to automate and optimize business processes
  • Identify new opportunities to improve business outcomes using data

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Advanced SQL querying skills
  • Proficient in data analysis using Python
  • Experience translating open-ended business questions into actionable analysis using big data and statistics
  • Experience with customer analytics, including user behavioral and campaign analysis
  • Ability to interpret data within the broader business context and identify opportunities
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, agile environment with a geographically distributed team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment
  • Familiarity with machine learning
