🍊Our mission

All new medicines need to undergo clinical trials to show they’re safe and effective. But today’s clinical trial infrastructure is stuck in the past, and the cost of developing new medicines has skyrocketed as a result. Patients have to wait longer and pay more for new treatments.

Our mission is to fix this; we use software to help innovative companies run faster, more reliable, and patient-friendly clinical trials. We’re still a young company, but we’ve already had a big impact. Since founding the company in March 2021 we’ve helped run over 100 clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients, with a customer NPS of 100.

We recently raised a $55m Series B round from Balderton Capital, with support from Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp, and Visionaries.

🍊 About the role

We are looking for a Data Manager to support a diverse range of clinical trials. As a Data Manager you will be a part of the deployment team that designs, configures and launches new trials on Citrus, our end-to-end trial delivery platform.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with data management expertise who also enjoys contributing to product development. You’ll be collaborating closely with our product team to make data management within Citrus easy and efficient.

🍊 About you

We’d like to hear from you if…

  • You have 3+ years of experience developing systems and procedures to store, organise, validate and manage clinical trial data, in an academic or commercial setting

  • You thrive in a startup environment that challenges the norms of typical CROs

  • You love working in a multidisciplinary team that includes clinical and technical collaborators as well as sponsor representatives

  • You bring creative thinking, attention to detail and empathy for patients to data management, and use these skills to ensure the highest quality trial outcome

  • Bonus: You have experience working with CDISC standards such as SDTM

You belong here! If your experience and interests match with some of the above, we want you to apply.

🍊 What you'll focus on

  • Become an expert on the electronic data capture (EDC) capabilities of Citrus, our end-to-end trial delivery platform

  • Act as the data management lead for multiple trials at a time, from early design to closeout

  • Trial design

    • Ensure the highest quality outcome data for a trial from an early design stage by advising sponsors and study teams on all aspects of data management

    • Create and contribute to trial design documents such as data management plans

  • Trial setup

    • Design CRFs and questionnaires to collect the highest quality data in the most efficient, accurate and user-friendly way

    • Develop processes to test the trial implementation and support clinical operations in providing evidence of robust user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Trial delivery

    • Support ongoing live trials with your expertise on data-related concerns, such as data queries and change control for the trial design

    • Provide data extracts and reports to clinical operations for ongoing central monitoring of the data

    • Develop and support processes during trial closeout, such as data cleaning, preparation and delivery

  • Product development

    • Collaborate with the product team to make data management within Citrus easy and efficient

    • Help the product team stay on top of the trial pipeline by capturing and prioritising new requirements for upcoming trials

🍊 What we offer

  • Make an impact across all areas of our business and fix one of the world’s most broken industries

  • Competitive salary, plus meaningful stock options

  • Flexible working; we have an incredible office near London Bridge and encourage people to work 3 days per week from the office.

  • Unlimited holidays; everyone is encouraged to take off at least 28 days each year

  • £60 monthly wellness allowance with complete flexibility on how to spend this including opting in to a company private health insurance scheme through AXA, a wellhub membership and more!

  • Access to gym and retail discounts through our benefits platform Happl.

  • Enhanced Parental Leave - 16 weeks full pay for primary care giver & 6 weeks full pay for secondary care giver

  • Cycle to work and other salary sacrifice schemes

  • Regular whole company and team events, both in person and virtually!

  • £1,000 Learning and Development allowance each year to put towards courses, certifications and development

  • A well stocked pantry and drinks fridge, Monday breakfast spread and catered team lunch on a Thursday for the UK office every week!

  • Regular charity events and fundraising opportunities through our charity partnership with the Forward Trust.

🍊 Our interview process

  • Initial conversation with Gina in our Talent Team (30 minutes)

  • Functional interview (60 minutes) - We'll run through a prepared case study that we give you ahead of time. This case study is designed to get a sense for how you'd approach the real-world responsibilities of this role.
