The Data Management & Integration Principal will be primarily responsible for driving new revenue and client use cases through Data Management opportunities in D&B’s largest and most complex clients, ensuring they realise value from D&B’s solutions/capabilities to grow and protect the franchise. The individual will focus on deploying D&B’s data management proposition through integration in order to help to master and enrich client data. This ensures customers have a robust data foundation which is an enabler for digital transformation, AI projects and a wide range of use cases across the organisation.


Working closely with strategic partners such as Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce and Microsoft, as well as their wider partner infrastructure, is a key focus of this role. This role achieves sales revenue goals by providing consulting, in partnership with Account Executives, Subject Matter Experts and Solution Architects. This is a commercial role that will help lead the sale of D&B’s most complex and modern solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage complex solution sales by combining multiple product sets, innovation, integration and bespoke solutions.
  • Apply commercial & technical expertise to define and position D&B solutions with business and technical teams at customers. Creatively design solutions that leverage new and legacy products and APIs to integrate D&B content/capabilities within complex customer and third-party applications.
  • To operate at a strategic (C+) level to align solutions to strategic priorities of key customers, bring together multiple stakeholders and construct compelling presentations, proposals and ROIs.
  • To maximize D&B’s presence in the market by cultivating the critical contacts to extend the relationship and build market awareness.
  • Support or lead outbound thought leadership in the form of White Papers, Webinars, Events, Expert Panels etc.
  • To maintain a detailed knowledge of key partner technology, success criteria, and market approach.
  • To maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive solutions with area of expertise and develop relationships with relevant 3rd parties.
  • To work collaboratively with AEs, SMEs Solution Architects and SDRs to create detailed account and vertical plans.
  • To work with Post-Sales to ensure smooth transition, delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • To assist with the mentoring, training and development of talent across the organisation and to feed into the creation of enablement programs/materials.
  • To manage and communicate progress against targets via accurate and timely reporting and forecasting via Salesforce

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years in a similar complex solution sales role.
  • Successfully and consistently over delivered against targets.
  • Domain knowledge in one or more of the areas of Cloud-based Technology, MDM, CRM, Marketing Automation, ERP, Credit and Finance.
  • Extensive Data Management and technology connections and network within large, complex businesses desirable.
  • An informed point of view on Big Data, Analytics and AI
  • Work experience in one or more key verticals (Hi-Tech, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Insurance, Manufacturing or Transportation/Trucking, Professional Services, Retail and Conglomerate companies) desirable.
  • Involvement in the most strategic, “Enterprise” level customer engagements.
  • Proven strategic input to GTM process.
  • Excellent negotiation, strong presentation skills, as well as written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in an ever-changing environment.
  • Proven ability to strategically plan and develop revenue within target accounts and verticals.
