About the Role

The Managed Investment Data Team is seeking a Data Consultant to drive Morningstar’s data across France and Benelux.

In this role, you will own and manage a portfolio of Fund Companies (asset managers), acting as their primary point of contact for all data-related topics. You will be responsible for building strong, long-term partnerships and positioning Morningstar as a trusted data partner, ensuring the continuous enrichment, quality, and strategic expansion of fund data coverage.

A key aspect of the role is to actively engage Fund Companies to contribute high-quality, comprehensive data, by clearly demonstrating how increased transparency enhances their visibility across Morningstar platforms and supports their distribution with clients, platforms, and advisors.

This position requires a relationship-driven and commercially minded approach, where success is achieved by influencing stakeholders, driving adoption of data standards, and creating mutual value between Morningstar and asset managers.

The position is based in our Paris office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of Fund Companies as key accounts and primary data contact
  • Drive data engagement by increasing data coverage and adoption
  • Promote Morningstar Data Standards
  • Lead data onboarding and expansion initiatives
  • Act as the bridge between asset managers and internal teams
  • Support complex data topics and escalations with internal stakeholders from different functions
  • Monitor regulatory trends and market developments

Qualifications

  • Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in asset management, financial data, or a related field
  • Good understanding of the investment fund industry within the French and Benelux region
  • Proven experience in relationship management, account management, or client-facing roles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex data topics

Nice to Have

  • Deep knowledge of investment fund data
  • Experience working with asset managers on data, reporting, or distribution topics
  • Experience in cross-functional project coordination
  • Experience of working in a global, cross-cultural environment 

Base Salary Compensation RangeEUR 43.000,00-59.666,66

Bonus Target:

7,5% Annual

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
