What you will do
  • Own and drive sales growth across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and Nordics, achieving revenue, sell-in, and sell-out targets across retail and distribution channels.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key channel partners, driving joint business planning, forecasting, promotional calendars, inventory health, merchandising, and execution excellence.

  • Lead the regional execution of new product launches, pricing strategies, retail activations, and marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent brand presentation and maximizing commercial impact.

  • Monitor business performance through sales data, outlets, inventory levels, and market trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to accelerate growth.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, Operations, Customer Success, and HQ to ensure successful execution of regional initiatives.

  • Identify new channel opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand Plaud's market presence.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and retail dynamics, regularly reporting business performance, channel health, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities to management.

  • Gradually take full ownership of the commercial performance and long-term business development strategy for the markets.

Skills, qualifications and experience we look for

  • 3-5 years of experience in channel sales, key account management, retail sales, or business development, preferably within consumer electronics, AI products, smart devices, premium consumer technology, or fast-growing hardware brands.

  • Native-level German and fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

  • Proven experience managing distributors, retailers, or key accounts, with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret sell-in, sell-out, inventory, pricing, and channel performance to make informed business decisions.

  • Strong project management and execution skills, capable of driving multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced international environment.

  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and hands-on, with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global cross-functional teams.
