Role Overview:
As a Business Central Pre-Sales Solution Architect based in the UK, you will play a crucial role in supporting commercial opportunities and the tender process within Infinity Group. This position offers the chance to work with one of the fastest-growing Microsoft partners, shaping new engagements of Business Central and the wider Dynamics 365 ecosystem from initial engagement to contract and handover to delivery. You will be part of a skilled pre-sales team, leveraging your expertise in all Dynamics 365 Apps.

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?

  • Experience: Proven experience with D365 BC/NAV, covering finance, supply chain, projects, manufacturing, and service management.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand various business types and challenges, and articulate how D365 can address these needs.
  • Technical Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of Dynamics 365 BC or NAV and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain key technology concepts to non-technical business users.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, both in person and online, with the ability to articulate and convey information clearly.
  • Pressure Management: Confidence in handling pressurized situations with strict deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to provide constructive feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.

As a D365 BC Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding industry-standard business practices supported by Dynamics.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintaining a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, supported by appropriate certifications.
  • Business Insight: Gaining a deep understanding of our business, technology, products, and market approaches.
  • Solutioning: Leading the solutioning of leads and opportunities alongside Business Applications sellers.
  • Demonstrations: Preparing and delivering tailored demonstrations to clients both online and in person.
  • Proposal Management: Responding to RFP/RFI documents and preparing estimates and sales collateral.
  • Marketing Engagement: Participating in marketing activities to support the sales and marketing team.
  • Community Engagement: Engaging with Microsoft and the wider D365 Community as part of the Infinity Group team.
  • Handover Coordination: Aligning with the delivery team to ensure clear handovers for successful implementations.
