🍽️ Help OpenTable keep hospitality moving.

With millions of diners, 70,000+ restaurant partners and 25+ years of experience, OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a passion for helping restaurants thrive. Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most – their team, their guests, and their bottom line – while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global team and its portfolio of metasearch brands. Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture.

About the Role...

At OpenTable, you’ll support an incredible community of restaurants and hospitality businesses who rely on our technology every day. We’re looking for people who genuinely want to help: listening, asking the right questions, solving problems and taking ownership to get customers back on track. You don’t need to know everything about our technology from day one; if you’re curious, comfortable with tech and care about giving customers a great experience, we’ll teach you the rest.

🇫🇷 Please note: you must be able to speak and write fluently in both French and English to be considered for this role.

📅 Our recruitment timeline

We’re growing our Customer Support team quickly, so this recruitment campaign will move at pace.

Applications close: 10th October 2026

Interviews will take place between: 13th - 16th October

We’ll begin interviewing while applications are still open, so we encourage you to apply as soon as you’re ready. Please make sure you have availability during the interview period before applying.

💬 What you’ll be doing
  • Support our customers across phone, email, chat and WhatsApp
  • Listen carefully, ask the right questions and understand what the customer actually needs
  • Investigate and troubleshoot problems rather than simply following a script
  • Take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution
  • Explain solutions clearly and confidently, without unnecessary technical jargon
  • Build your knowledge of OpenTable so you can help customers get the most from our products
  • Know when to keep investigating and when to bring in additional expertise
  • Adapt your communication style to customers across different markets and cultures
  • Accurately record customer interactions in Salesforce
  • Help make every interaction with OpenTable a positive one
🔎 Our ideal candidate

You don’t need to be a technical expert.

What we care about is how you think and how you treat people.

You’re probably someone who hears “I can’t get this to work” and instinctively wants to figure out why. You’re patient enough to listen, curious enough to investigate and determined enough not to give up at the first hurdle.

You’ll bring:

  • Fluent written and spoken French and English
  • At least 1 year of customer support experience, across phone, email, chat or similar channels
  • A genuine desire to help customers and provide brilliant service
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with natural curiosity and a logical approach to problem solving
  • Confidence learning and navigating technology
  • The ability to remain calm and helpful when a customer is frustrated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • The confidence to work in an environment where you won’t always have a script telling you what to say
  • Openness to feedback and a desire to keep learning

Experience in restaurants, hospitality or software support is a bonus, but it isn’t essential. If you’ve worked in hospitality yourself, you may already understand just how important it is to have someone reliable at the other end of the phone when you need help.

If you need any reasonable adjustments during the application/interview process, or on the job, we’re here to support you. Please reach out to your recruiter to request any accommodations.
