Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive, successful relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking complete responsibility for each customer interaction for order processing .

As an Order Entry Specialist , you will process orders to meet company performance metrics.  

You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service quality.  

The position includes a variety of tasks working in close collaboration with our commercial partners and customers  by taking ownership and accountability.

Please be aware, this role location is officially based on Benton Lane.

Key Responsibilities/ requirements : 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal.  To include digital literacy, exceptional detail orientation, strong follow up, and ability to solve problems

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision while maintaining accuracy

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills combined with exceptional computer skills/literacy including knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proficiency in enterprise systems including Oracle and  Salesforce

  • A powerful desire to succeed,  combined with the ability to execute multiple tasks, while working calmly and accurately under pressure.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment

  •  Ability to ensure and influence customer satisfaction by demonstrating tact, sensitivity, and professionalism through presentation of excellence in organizational skills

  • Navigate and partner to communicate optimally with internal functions.

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Knowledge of cGMP and quality system standards preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities

  • Demonstrated success in meeting service level agreements and performance metrics

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills reflecting a positive, professional, and customer centered organization. 

  • Adhere to the Company’s instructions and policies related to order entry and customer relations and to meet established goals

  • To perform any other duties as may be required within the remit of the role

  • To understand and accept personal responsibilities for Health & Safety on site in compliance with local legislation and the Company’s Health & Safety Management

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent (UK)

  • Minimum of 4 years Customer Service or relevant work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  • Experience in Order Processing and Customer Service operations or equivalent is preferred and ideally within the manufacturing or distribution industries

  • Previous experience in developing customer relations and demonstrable interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
