About the Role

As a Customer Marketing Manager you will lead and deliver insight led customer activation plans within a specific retailer across all the Haleon brands and categories. You will influence and utilise the Haleon Shopper Marketing Strategy to drive innovative and differentiated plans that align to the retailer strategies to drive maximum engagement and disruption with their shoppers.

You will use shopper insight to develop and implement high-impact, differentiated, multi-channel shopper plans aligned to category, brand and retailer strategies and you will be the lead customer facing contact for the brand, working closely with the MFT (shopper manager/sales manager/brand manager) to translate brand and shopper objectives into clear retailer specific activation plans.

You will also work to influence the internal shopper marketing strategy to ensure your retailers strategy is integral in its creation, and naturally will work closely with creative, strategic and retailer media agencies to develop bespoke campaigns with clear objectives to enable post campaign evaluations to inform future activation spend
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the overarching Customer Marketing Engagement Strategy aligned to your specific retailer and the multichannel strategy for our Haleon portfolio of brands, with a focus on Retail Media activation

  • Leading Strategic Retailer Campaigns (that deliver for both the retailer and Haleon)

  • Developing strong collaborative and powerful relationships both internally and externally, including with our retail customers and agency partners to influence the most impactful and effective shopper solution.

  • Develop creative campaigns that help drive the Haleon’s execution strategy and Health Inclusivity agenda

  • Efficient management of shopper marketing spend across brand and retailer, to deliver brand sales, share, profit and GM%

  • Drive strong GB local market insight to ensure global, area and locally created toolkits are a strong fit for the GB market

  • Utilise these toolkits and align them to work for the retailer and customer, creating high impact disruptive brand presence through the appropriate shopper touchpoints

  • Working with the insights team and Shopper Science Lab, conduct shopper/category relevant to retailer research on key shopper campaigns as required

  • Feed the retailer shopper voice into the annual commercial planning process to ensure this voice is at the heart of the brand and customer plans.

  • Evaluate shopper/retailer activation to ensure we are spending money efficiently/continually improving and delivering ROI to the business

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience working with 3rd party retail agencies to deliver projects.

  • Experience in collaborating on retailer lead and partnership campaigns

  • Strong Project Management and cross-functional working abilities, ability to build strong relationships internally and externally

  • Sound Data analysis and commercial understanding
