Responsibilities:

  • Manage renewals quarterly, meet and exceed upsell and cross sell revenue goals, mitigate churn risks and exceed quarterly and annual target.

  • Manage a book of business to drive expansion and retention by proactively identifying customer needs, uncovering growth opportunities, and positioning solutions to maximize customer value.

  • Execute a consistent and strategic sales process across the full customer lifecycle, including discovery, value articulation, negotiation, and close.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Implementation, Support and Product teams to ensure seamless execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership success.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in sales tools, and regularly report on progress toward individual and team targets.

  • Continuously sharpen your sales skills and deepen your product knowledge by staying current on Ironclad’s capabilities and developing a strong understanding of the outcomes our customers are striving to achieve.


Key Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 2-5 years of account management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.

  • You've sourced upsell and cross sell opportunities of 20-100K and managed renewal of 45-250K.

  • Strong understanding of account prioritisation, cross sell and upsell potential, risk mitigation and churn prevention tactics will be essential to the success of the role

  • Experience with sales methodologies such as value selling, challenger selling, MEDDPICC, command of the message are highly desired.

  • Experience selling complex technology within a competitive landscape highly desired.

  • Tech experience with SFDC, Gong, Outreach, Google suite, slack, Ironclad, and forecasting tools like Aviso highly desired.

  • Curiosity and genuine interest about our product, mission, and industry.

  • Excellent communication skills, and persistent follow through on commitments to our customers.

  • Works well with other teams and wants to own projects outside of just closing deals.

  • Self-sufficient with a strong internal sense of urgency, hard-working, and humble.

  • Comfortable with commercial negotiation and willingness to iterate selling style as needed.
