As a Lead Technical Program Manager in JP Morgan Chase, Corporate & Investment Bank's, Digital & Platform Services team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, oversee multiple technical programs and projects from inception to completion. Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage operating model - responsible for documentation, implementation, change management and ongoing strategy and planning. Maintain and monitor list of key program-level dependencies including across application groups and proactively track through to completion. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives, key results (OKRs) and report on program outcomes, prioritizing the book of work against key milestones and managing team capacity accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations. Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Advise and influence senior leaders and business executives on key business decisions required and major change initiatives. Develop deep, trust-based advisor relationships with key client stakeholders in management, Global Technology, and the Lines of Business to drive delivery and achieve organizational alignment and buy-in
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
  • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence), and techniques, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability in managing through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep expertise in technology enabled program delivery and/or COO technology delivery experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics, proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience leading complex data architecture projects supporting system design, testing and operational stability
