If email engagement and performance optimisation is your thing, we’re currently looking for a data-driven and creative CRM Marketing Executive to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in developing and executing engaging and personalised engagement through email automations that nurture leads, drive conversions, and build lasting relationships with our student customers and audiences.
Working closely with the CRM Marketing Manager and another CRM Marketing Executive, you'll leverage your expertise in email marketing automation and audience segmentation to optimise campaign performance and achieve our marketing goals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly scaling company and make a tangible impact on our CRM strategy.
Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to create, develop, execute, and optimise targeted email and SMS campaigns across the whole engagement journey.
  • Utilise various marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Campaign Monitor) to build engaging journeys automated to engage and nurture customers and specific audience segments.
  • Plan and craft compelling engagement with a clear call to action, ensuring adherence to brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • A/B test different subject lines, message layouts, and content variations to optimise campaign performance and maximise engagement metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions).
  • Track campaign performance metrics and analyse results to identify areas for improvement, ensuring continuous optimisation.
  • Segment lead and customer data based on intent, geography, and past interactions to build highly targeted campaigns.
  • Ensure all email and SMS campaigns comply with industry best practices and relevant regulations (GDPR, DPA).
  • Stay informed of current trends and best practices in email and SMS marketing automation, identifying opportunities to implement innovative strategies. 
  • Assist with producing and improving marketing communications with other areas of the business including B2B sector communications and recruitment drives in line with business objectives.
     

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a CRM/Digital related marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in email marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Campaign Monitor experience highly preferred).
  • Excellent data analysis and audience segmentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging digital engagement (excellent punctuation, spelling, grammar, and a flair for creative writing).
  • Strong attention to detail, leading the sign off process with a clear approval checklist across departments, including proof-reading and final creative checks.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment (highly organised with experience of balancing multiple projects).
  • Proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
  • DPA & GDPR compliance knowledge.
  • Experience using design tools like Adobe Photoshop Essentials a plus.
  • Working knowledge of HTML a plus.
