Job Description

Wise is seeking a creative and data-driven individual to join our growing CRM team as our first CRM Communications Strategist & Copywriter in APAC. The role is based in our Singapore office, supported by our growing marketing team, and reports into the Communications Strategy lead based in London. You will be responsible for designing comms across multiple platforms that will reach millions of customers around the world. The ideal candidate will be extremely data-driven, passionate about making the complicated sound simple, and skilled in producing communications that make customers feel great about using Wise. You will have a deep understanding of how to create engaging and effective content about our products, services and brand. You will be someone who puts our customers at the heart of everything they do and is passionate about choosing the right combination of words to say, at the right time, through the right channel.

As part of the Communications Strategy team, you’ll work with our Product teams, Pricing team, Creative team, and CRM team to design and deliver communications that help convey key messages about our brand, products, and pricing.

 

What you’ll be doing:

Your role will combine high-level strategy with hands-on copywriting for CRM campaigns

  • Work closely with product teams to understand new product or feature launches, their impact on customers and commercials, and any regional nuances or variations.

  • Define data-driven communications strategies.

  • Write detailed, clear, and well-orchestrated briefs.

  • Write the copy for CRM campaigns that inform and inspire customers throughout their journey.

  • Compose messages that help guide customers along their Wise journey with ease.

  • Craft the words for marketing campaigns to educate customers on product features.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and follow up on performance and insights to iterate and maximise impact.

  • Convey ideas and perspectives with imagination and conviction, using creativity to challenge assumptions and ask ‘what if’.

  • Monitor competitor actions in the space and bring a strong point-of-view on what Wise should be doing to deliver best-in-class communications.

  • Write the copy for CRM campaigns that inform and inspire customers throughout their journey.

  • Compose messages that help guide customers along their Wise journey with ease.

  • Craft the words for marketing campaigns to educate customers on product features.

  • Help brainstorm ideas and angles for copy and communications relevant to the APAC region..

  • Support CRM in their mission to deliver relevant, personalised, and timely communications across Wise channels and customer touch-points.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role combining copywriting and strategic thinking (70% copy/30% strategic thinking).

  • Strong portfolio illustrating high-impact product launches, including clear writing samples that show your craft for making sense of complex product terminology through friendly and clear copy.

  • Passion for data and how it informs best-in-class communications

  • Proven experience working with Product & CRM teams. You will have worked with designers, product marketers, and managers before.

  • Experience designing and writing communications for multiple locales.

  • Experience writing copy for CRM channels for a medium-to-large-sized business, preferably in a regulated industry.

  • A pragmatic approach to writing with a good understanding of design and UX.

  • Versatility—you’ll be just as happy writing a 6-email lifecycle journey as you are crafting a 2-word CTA or writing a crisis communication at short notice.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate the ‘why’ behind your decisions, convince, disagree confidently, and take and give useful feedback.

Additional Information

Salary: 7,100 - 9250 SGD

This is a 12-month Full Time Contract position based in Singapore.
