As a Credit Risk Senior Associate/ Vice President in Credit Risk, you will assess and manage credit and counterparty risks across industries, clients, geographies, and transactions. You will help identify, measure, monitor, and manage credit exposure arising from underwriting, lending, trading, cash management, clearing, and other client activities. Working within Corporate Risk Management, you will contribute to independent credit risk assessments and support sound risk management practices across the firm.


Job Responsibilities

  • Assess credit and counterparty risks across clients, industries, geographies, and transactions
  • Analyze credit exposures arising from underwriting, lending, and trading activities
  • Evaluate financial and credit information to support risk assessments and recommendations
  • Monitor credit portfolios and identify emerging risks
  • Support the measurement, management, and monitoring of credit risk exposures
  • Apply accounting and corporate finance principles in credit analysis activities
  • Prepare and review financial models and analytical materials
  • Collaborate with business partners and risk management stakeholders
  • Contribute to the integrity and independence of risk management decisions
  • Communicate credit assessments and risk considerations effectively
  • Support ongoing risk management initiatives and projects

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Credit or underwriting credentials
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting and corporate finance
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to learn new concepts and apply critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and explain complex concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment
