Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, you will coordinate multiple concurrent store planning and design projects, supporting the day-to-day delivery and commercial processes of the existing estate. You will build strong working relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard, on time and within budget.

Frasers Group is one of the UK’s leading multi-brand retailers, with a continually expanding property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact across our diverse retail platform, working on projects ranging from 5,000 sq. ft to in excess of 300,000 sq. ft.

You will coordinate and drive the planning, development, implementation, control and completion of store projects, ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, commitments and goals. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will manage a small team and oversee several work streams at any one time.

  • Lead the delivery of store projects in line with fascia strategy and design matrices, through effective planning and implementation.

  • Coordinate multiple projects and work streams simultaneously, prioritising workloads, resolving issues promptly and keeping every project on programme and within budget.

  • Define project tasks, resource requirements and programmes, setting clear milestones and deadlines.

  • Embed commercial awareness in every project, working cross-functionally with the Commercial, VM, Marketing and Retail teams to protect each project’s commercial proposition.

  • Manage, direct and coach direct reports, maintaining oversight of all team deliverables and supporting their professional development.

  • Report on project progress and risks to the business and key stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

  • Lead and manage relationships with external partners, consultants and suppliers as required.

  • Protect and uphold the Frasers Group retail brand identity, continually improving process and quality.

  • Manage project deliverables, schedules and documentation using appropriate project management tools.

  • Attend site visits with external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of each project.

  • Prepare and present project documentation and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

The Essentials

  • Proven experience of coordinating retail store planning and design projects, from concept through to completion, within an industry setting.

  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects and work streams concurrently, working to tight deadlines and budgetary constraints.

  • Ability to work independently and with initiative, with minimal supervision and a track record of sound decision-making.

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience of managing, motivating and coaching a small team.

  • Experience of engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including internal teams, external consultants and partners.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively during live projects.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver within agreed timescales.

  • A meticulous eye for detail.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to cope with fast-track projects and changing business requirements.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a frequent basis.

  • A commitment to continually developing your knowledge and skills.
