Job Brief

As a Creative Designer at Moneybox in the Brand & Creative team, you’ll play an important role in bringing our brand to life across advertising, organic social, CRM and integrated campaigns.

Reporting to the Lead Designer, you’ll join a collaborative Brand & Creative team responsible for delivering engaging, effective and consistently high quality creative wherever the Moneybox brand appears.

This is a hands on role for a designer who combines excellent craft with strong ideas. You’ll independently own BAU creative and smaller projects, from interpreting briefs and developing concepts through to producing polished final assets within Figma using and assisting to maintain our marketing design system. You’ll also work alongside senior team members on larger campaigns and more complex creative challenges.

We’re looking for someone who can do more than execute a brief. You’ll think carefully about the brand and business objectives, bringing fresh ideas and practical creative solutions to every project.

What you'll do

  • Own the design and delivery of high-quality advertising creative across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube and display, from concept through to final assets.

  • Develop ideas for brand advertising, customer testimonials and performance creative.

  • Own organic social design, including ad hoc content and recurring series output.

  • Produce CRM, customer communication and campaign assets across digital and print.

  • Manage smaller projects independently and support senior designers on larger campaigns, launches and conceptual work.

  • Create digital work in Figma and maintain clear, scalable templates, components and shared libraries.

  • Produce print-ready artwork in Adobe Creative Cloud, maintaining consistency across physical and digital applications.

  • Collaborate with creatives, marketers and stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective creative solutions.

  • Present and explain your creative thinking clearly, contributing ideas to pitches and creative development.

  • Act as a Moneybox brand guardian, ensuring all work is cohesive, accessible and aligned with our visual identity.

  • Manage multiple briefs and deadlines, communicating progress and challenges proactively.

  • All designers at Moneybox collaborate across projects, maintain a broad understanding of the team’s work and have opportunities to contribute beyond their primary areas of ownership.

Who you are

You create engaging, high-quality design and understand how creativity and brand-building contribute to business success. You are:

  • Excited by the Moneybox mission and genuinely interested in our products and services.

  • A skilled designer with strong visual judgement, conceptual thinking and attention to detail.

  • Proactive and able to work independently from high-level direction, while knowing when to seek support.

  • Collaborative, receptive to feedback and confident building relationships across the business.

  • Comfortable balancing creative ambition with deadlines, channel requirements and commercial priorities.

  • Confident using AI thoughtfully to accelerate exploration and production while maintaining originality and creative judgement.

  • Curious, committed to developing your craft and passionate about creating distinctive, coherent brand experiences.

Experience and skills

  • At least two years of relevant professional design experience, or an equivalent level demonstrated through your portfolio.

  • A strong portfolio of advertising, social, campaign and brand work across digital channels.

  • Good typography, layout, composition and visual storytelling skills.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, styles, variables, auto layout and shared libraries.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, including preparing production-ready print artwork.

  • A good understanding of print production, including colour spaces, resolution, bleed and supplying files to production partners.

  • Strong ideation skills and the ability to communicate concepts through mood boards, mock-ups or storyboards.

  • A good understanding of how design works alongside copy, motion, content and marketing strategy.

  • Strong organisation, time management and file management skills.

  • Experience collaborating with motion designers and preparing Figma files for motion is a bonus.

How you’ll work

You’ll independently manage day-to-day creative tasks and smaller projects in Figma, with final work reviewed and signed off by the relevant senior designer or Lead Designer.

For larger campaigns and strategic projects, you’ll support senior team members while contributing actively to ideation, problem-solving and delivery. As you develop in the role, you’ll build greater confidence in presenting work, managing stakeholders and representing the Brand & Creative team in cross-functional conversations.

Success in this role means becoming a trusted creative partner: someone who produces excellent work, takes ownership, contributes ideas and helps the whole team deliver the Moneybox brand effectively and consistently.
