About Kernel

Kernel gives enterprise RevOps teams confidence in their CRM data.

We’ve raised a $14M Series A from top VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack and others to build the AI-native alternative to Dun & Bradstreet’s entity and hierarchy data.

RevOps teams at Gong, Navan, Zip, Remote and GoCardless use Kernel to clean, enrich and complete their CRM data at enterprise scale, eliminating duplicates, fixing hierarchies and restoring trust in the foundation that powers forecasting, territory planning and AI initiatives.

Our platform combines entity-level intelligence with mass-action tooling to give RevOps teams the data quality and control needed to plan confidently and deploy AI successfully.

The Role

We are looking for a Content Marketing Lead to report directly to our Founder and work closely with our Marketing Lead to own Kernel's creative content strategy and execution.

You will build robust content pipelines that drive brand awareness and lead generation in the RevOps and AI deployment space. You have a deep passion for creative storytelling and multimedia production and want to contribute broadly to a fast-growing startup.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Be the engine for Kernel's brand, creating content that resonates with RevOps buyers and blends education and entertainment

  • Work directly with the CEO to build a founder-led brand and authority on key subjects

  • Lead Kernel’s podcast and video content — planning, creative direction, recording and editing

  • Manage a content calendar, ensuring consistency across all platforms

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Leadership to create full-funnel content

  • Analyze performance data to refine strategy and optimize for engagement and conversion

  • Manage and develop our podcast series, working with internal and external stakeholders

What You Bring
  • Strong creative vision — you know what makes content stand out in B2B

  • Deep understanding of social-first channels (especially LinkedIn and YouTube)

  • Proven experience producing high-performing multimedia (video, audio) content

  • Ability to both create and manage — hands-on content creation experience is a must

  • Experience in B2B marketing and understanding of how content drives growth

  • Strong storytelling skills to translate technical topics into compelling narratives

  • Comfort analyzing performance metrics to improve strategy

You should have:
  • Experience in startup environments

  • Proficiency in video and audio production tools

  • Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners

  • Proven experience in B2B content marketing

Nice to have:
  • Experience in AI, SaaS, or RevOps

  • Animation or motion graphics skills

  • Graphic design abilities (Figma, Canva)

  • Video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)

⚠️ This role may not be for you if you:
  • Need lots of structure or polished specs

  • Only ship pixel-perfect work

  • Require detailed instructions

This role is definitely not for you if you:
  • Prefer remote or hybrid work (requires 4+ days in London office)

  • Don’t enjoy the pace of an early-stage startup

  • Have side projects or want to manage a team instead of creating content

What We Offer

We will do our best to offer you a ride of a lifetime. It will not be easy, but it will be thrilling.

  • 💰 Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 + equity

  • 🗓️ 24 days holiday per year + bank holidays

  • ✈️ 2 weeks work-from-anywhere

  • 💼 Pension plan

  • 💻 Top-spec equipment and central London office

  • 🍽️ Free dinner at the office

  • 🎉 Team events and dinners

  • 🚀 Work directly with the founders to scale the systems that power enterprise AI

🎫 Visas & Relocation

We generally require candidates to have the right to work in the UK. However, for exceptional candidates, we may offer visa sponsorship.

Interview Process

Stage 1 – 30-minute intro call. Overview of Kernel, your experience, and creative strengths.

Stage 2 – Creative project or case task (≤ 4 hours).

Stage 3 – 60-minute interview with Marketing Lead and Founder reviewing ideas and execution.

Final Stage – Founders interview with Anders (CEO) and Marcus to assess cultural and creative alignment.

If there is mutual fit, we move to references and offer.
