What you’ll own

  • Under general guidance, supports the management and investigation of commercial and employment disputes and litigation matters, including liaising with external counsel and assisting with legal spend tracking across EMEA and APAC with a focus on UK & Ireland.
  • Assists with responses to third-party disclosure requests and freezing orders.
  • Provides support to internal complaints teams on customer disputes and complaints handling.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of litigation reporting frameworks, including tracking key risks, themes, and outcomes.
  • Supports internal and external audit processes, including document collection, review, and organisation.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of templates, playbooks, and guidance materials to promote consistency in dispute management.
  • Maintains employment-related templates, including contracts and People, Culture, and Change (PCC)/HR policies across EMEA.
  • Supports PCC/HR on day-to-day employment matters, including grievances, investigations, performance or conduct processes, and reasonable adjustments.
  • Assists with case management activities, including maintaining matter files, tracking deadlines, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with court and tribunal timetables.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across Legal, Risk, and Compliance and operational teams to identify issues early and support effective dispute resolution strategies.

What you’ll bring

  • 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in employment, litigation, or commercial law.
  • Prior in-house experience preferred (or strong exposure to corporate clients in private practice).
  • Solid understanding of employment law principles and dispute resolution processes.
  • Experience supporting litigation or investigations, including working with external counsel.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Being able to productively handle relationships, both internal and external to the company together with strong social awareness and relationship management skills.
