Our corporate team specialises in company law, group reorganisations, investments and shareholder agreements, share incentives, employee ownership trusts, management buyouts and mergers and acquisitions. We work closely with clients to help them navigate complex transactions and achieve their strategic objectives.
We’re looking for a Solicitor who enjoys working on a broad range of corporate matters. You’ll advise clients across a wide range of corporate law issues, often where legal considerations intersect with accountancy and tax work. This is a genuinely collaborative role, working closely with colleagues across the wider advisory services practice to deliver joined‑up, high‑quality advice.

Key Responsibilities
You will advise a broad range of clients on corporate and business law matters, including:
  • Company law and general business law advice
  • Group reorganisations, including capital reductions, share buybacks, share exchanges and reconstructions
  • Capital investments and strategic advice to new and developing businesses
  • Joint ventures, investment and shareholders’ agreements
  • Mergers and acquisitions of companies and businesses
  • Employee Ownership Trusts

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 4-6 years’ post qualified experience
  • LPC qualification or equivalent
  • Must hold a valid Solicitors Practising Certificate
  • Experience specialising in corporate law 
  • Experience of working within a partnership environment
  • Strong intellect and ability to think creatively
  • Excellent technical drafting, written communication and analytical skills are essential
  • Credible and competent in dealing with difficult situations.
  • Ability to influence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Team player
  • Shares the firm’s desire to help our clients realise their ambitions
Experience of the following would be helpful, but not essential:
  • Employee Share Options and Employee Ownership Trusts
  • Commercial law and commercial agreements
