  • Build strong relationships with external advisers, business units and group functions to support strategic objectives.

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investment activities.

  • Lead valuation analysis and assess the potential impact of opportunities on business performance.

  • Manage financial due diligence and coordinate wider due diligence activities.

  • Support oversight of corporate transactions led by business units across the Group.

  • Lead transaction workstreams and manage external advisers with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Coach and motivate Associate team members, helping them develop their skills and experience.

We're looking for a commercially focused Corporate Development Manager with strong transaction experience and the ability to build trusted relationships across a complex organisation.

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not essential.

  • Significant experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, finance, investment banking, professional services or private equity.

  • Strong analytical, valuation and financial modelling skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working collaboratively across multiple teams.

  • Experience managing, coaching or motivating team members.

  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear business recommendations.

  • A flexible, organised and proactive approach to work.
