The Position

Corporate Communications Partner (12 month FTC)

At Roche UK, we focus our energy and investment in developing tests and treatments that change lives and give us more quality time with the people we love. And, together with others, we’re solving healthcare’s greatest challenges; helping to achieve better results by connecting early diagnosis to targeted treatment and ongoing support.

The impact you will make

A key driver to our success is driving mindsets and behaviours that have a positive impact on our stakeholders internally and externally. We are looking for a strategic communicator who can ensure our employees are inspired and engaged ambassadors, while simultaneously ensuring our external stakeholders have an accurate understanding of who we are, our portfolio of medicines  and how we help people in the UK live longer, healthier lives.

Our Corporate Communications team is responsible for all aspects of the UK corporate brand. In this role you will lead and develop  insight driven, compelling and multi-channel campaigns that engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including issues management, employee engagement, social media, media relations, disease awareness, and patient engagement.

Your expertise

Applying a deep understanding of the latest developments in communications and the wider UK healthcare environment, you will develop and deliver strategies that directly engage with key stakeholder groups. You will be an outstanding communicator with a proven track record of writing and delivering effective corporate strategies that influence and inspire.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant pharmaceutical experience: A deep understanding of the role communications plays within the UK pharmaceutical industry is essential.

  • Internal engagement expertise: Proven experience in building long-lasting relationships and managing internal change to optimum effect, ensuring high levels of employee alignment and advocacy.

  • Strategic collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively with relevant teams, offering direction and advice while making sound decisions under pressure.

Degree-educated, your previous experience within a similar pharmaceutical or similar organisation is essential. Above all, you will know how to build the partnerships and advocacy that enable us to achieve our goal of ensuring that UK patients have the best access to medicines in Europe.
