As a Corporate Actions Processing Senior Associate in Investment Middle Office Services Asset Servicing, you ensure corporate actions are processed accurately across the full lifecycle—from announcement capture through elections and payments. 
You will work with teammates and partners across functions to resolve exceptions, strengthen controls, and continuously enhance how we deliver for clients


Job responsibilities

  • Process corporate actions across the full lifecycle, from announcement capture through elections and payments
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution in line with procedures, controls, and deadlines
  • Track, obtain, and submit corporate action election responses with a focus on completeness and timeliness
  • Monitor and resolve daily control checks and exceptions
  • Investigate and resolve cash and stock breaks, claims, and related operational issues
  • Liaise with agent banks and custodians to improve processing outcomes and client experience
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including risk and client-facing teams, to provide proactive support
  • Escalate risks, issues, and trends promptly to management and support timely remediation
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and support system migrations and process changes
  • Contribute to team and departmental initiatives, including process improvement and operational change meetings
  • Support a strong team rhythm through huddles and consistent communication

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Full lifecycle corporate actions processing knowledge
  • Working knowledge of corporate actions and income accounting entries
  • Demonstrated control-focused mindset and ability to complete daily checks consistently
  • Proven ability to resolve operational issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex topics clearly
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across diverse stakeholders, including senior partners
  • Ability to manage demanding stakeholders and set expectations professionally
  • Experience supporting investment operations processes such as trade support, cash, and reconciliations
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, meet tight deadlines, and deliver with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Client service or middle office exposure
  • Familiarity with corporate actions processing platforms (for example: IM Actions Corporate Actions, Bancs, Cosmic)
  • Experience participating in or supporting project delivery and understanding key control points in change programs
  • Broader financial markets product knowledge and understanding of transaction lifecycles
