Overall Purpose of the Role
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the implementation of the fund treasury operations of iSAM Vector, Helix and Securities. This includes ensuring the day-to-day deliverables as related to the treasury function are completed and working towards delivering enhancements and new implementations as laid out in the treasury roadmap. The employee must be able to work independently and in accordance with approved company and fund policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with internal teams and external counterparties.
- Take ownership of individual projects and process/system enhancements to understand the requirements, design, implement and be able to test in an iterative manner.
- Support Core Technology daily functions related to treasury deliverables as required from time to time.
- Increase code quality and test coverage of the system with a focus on allowing new markets and functionality to be delivered rapidly.
- Work closely with developers in other teams to understand technical patterns and solutions, and to learn from their experience and ensure consistency across ISAM’s code base.
- Continual technical development via internal mentorship and external training.
- Perform FX hedging function on a share class level, prefunding monitoring and non-US dollar conversion of balances within the Master accounts.
- Generation and review of daily and monthly reports including broker commissions, interest and financing, margin, asset breakdown and performance statistics, ensuring accuracy and consistency with the business as it grows.
Experience / Skills
- Educated to Degree level, ideally with a STEM background
- 2+ years’ experience working within the Treasury team of a hedge fund or investment bank
