CoPilot Product Owner

The CoPilot Product Owner is responsible for delivering Personal AI enablement and product strategy in support of the Enterprise AI Program goals and objectives. This role drives end-to-end product lifecycle management for Personal Productivity AI tooling (e.g., Copilot, enterprise AI assistants), ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities, effective adoption and use with appropriate governance. The role operates at the intersection of business, technology, and risk, partnering closely with Technology Platform Managers to define capabilities, deliver product innovations, and sustain adoption at scale. The position is accountable for translating strategy into execution, managing product performance, and continuously optimizing outcomes through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive discovery and innovation through personas, competitive analysis, and identification of new opportunities
  • Support product planning including forecasting, requirements definition, and success metrics
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide perspective to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
  • Perform risk analysis and maintain risk assessments aligned to governance frameworks and controls
  • Track product KPIs (adoption, satisfaction, performance) and conduct post-launch audits to drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor financial performance (capital, expenses, rate cards) and ensure alignment across regions
  • Maintain product inventory, documentation, and governance artifacts with audit-ready accuracy
  • Provide RFP support and expert consulting across business and technology stakeholders
  • Operate cross-functionally with business, technology, risk, and compliance partners
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, regulatory standards, and AI control frameworks
  • Develop and deliver quarterly OKRs aligned to enterprise strategy, with transparent performance reporting
  • Support executive decision-making through structured insights and performance analytics
  • Balance strategic direction with operational execution to deliver measurable business outcomes

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Comfortable operating a business enablement product for a technical product environment. on
  • Understanding of Microsoft Copilot ecosystem (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, agents) including enterprise deployment, usage patterns, and productivity use cases
  • Knowledge of AI-powered personal productivity workflows (workflow automation, knowledge grounding, prompts, agent orchestration, collaboration enablement)
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., data protection, access controls, model risk, audit requirements) as applied to Copilot and enterprise AI tools
  • Experience with product lifecycle management, including roadmap development, launch execution, and post-launch optimization
  • Strong understanding of usage telemetry, adoption metrics, and value realization frameworks (e.g., productivity KPIs, ROI modeling, OKRs tied to Copilot adoption)
  • Ability to translate business productivity needs into AI-enabled capabilities while balancing user experience, risk, and scalability
  • Experience working in regulated environments with audit, risk, and compliance alignment for AI-driven solutions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
