Lead sales operations for the Controls business by developing and optimising sales processes, CRM (Salesforce) and CPQ tools, governance, reporting and forecasting. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance and IT to improve data quality, pipeline management, campaign tracking, and commercial execution while coordinating system enhancements, testing, and stakeholder adoption to drive sales productivity and growth.
What You Will Do
As a Commercial Operations and Enablement Specialist within our Controls EMEA business, you will support the commercial excellence agenda by driving data quality, sales process discipline, reporting accuracy, pipeline visibility and sales enablement activities. Working closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Pricing and Operations teams, you will help strengthen CRM adoption, improve commercial performance tracking and enable data-driven decision making across the region. - Coordinate commercial planning activities, including performance reporting, action tracking and governance follow-up.
- Drive Salesforce data quality, opportunity management, account discipline and pipeline hygiene across the EMEA Controls business.
- Prepare and analyse data for pipeline reviews, forecast discussions, business reviews and KPI tracking.
- Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports and performance summaries.
- Support sales enablement initiatives through onboarding resources, playbooks, training materials and internal communications.
- Monitor adoption of commercial tools, dashboards and enablement programmes.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to support demand generation activities, installed base growth and campaign conversion tracking.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, document standard ways of working and support implementation of best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely inputs, issue resolution and action completion.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects using data analysis, structured problem-solving and change management principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years' experience in commercial operations, sales operations, business analytics, sales enablement, marketing operations or a similar role.
- Experience using Salesforce, Power BI, Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Good understanding of CRM processes, sales pipeline management, forecasting and business performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple functions and countries.
- Proactive, organised and accountable with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience within controls, building technologies, industrial solutions, energy management, software or other B2B technical sales environments.
- Knowledge of commercial enablement programmes, sales training initiatives or marketing operations.
- Experience supporting regional or international commercial teams.
- Interest in developing advanced analytics, automation and commercial excellence capabilities.
