Maximum Term/Fixed Term (Fixed Term)Purpose: The Control Analyst, Divisional Controls Function is responsible for providing risk and control specialist guidance and support, with particular focus on supporting Tactical and Strategic initiatives that drive the function forward.
Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements:
Essential capabilities
- Support in the targeted controls uplift for the Business and Enablement functions.
- Provide advice and guidance on risk, control and obligation items at the divisional and end to end value chain level, including subject matter input for; business changes, event management, escalating operational risk, compliance events, systemic issues or breakdowns in the control environment
- Identification of control gaps and weaknesses, looking for opportunities for making controls both automated and preventative rather than detective
- Identification of risks and appropriate indicators to monitor trends and manage risk in the Business, including identification of areas where additional training is required
- Proven ability to manage and advance projects to uplift controls and meet deadlines for initiatives.
- Proven ability to support Businesses across multiple locations (London and Paris)
Qualification Requirements
- 3/5 years’ experience in operational risk management
- Experience in Control Design / Assurance Methodologies
- Preferred track record in Change initiatives and/or Project management.
- Exposure to AI tools (Co-pilot) desirable.

- Provide solutions to management to progress initiatives and aid the decision-making process for DC related topics.

- Ability to manage control related projects and report to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work on several initiatives at a time and prioritise in a pragmatic manner.

- Manage monthly/quarterly reporting deadlines.
