About Hook

We’re building the future of customer growth. At Hook, we use AI and Machine Learning to help businesses predict revenue with accuracy, drive customer loyalty, and capture massive value from their existing customers.

We’re a Series A company who ranked 33 out of 100 on the Sifted fastest growing startups and we have raised $multi-million in funding from some of the top investors in Europe and the US (e.g. Balderton Capital and Lightspeed) and have an enviable list of customers that we’re working with including some of the fastest growing companies in the world. We’re looking for ambitious people that want to be part of our meaningful vision of changing how businesses engage with their customers, and of building one of the world’s leading workplaces for great people along the way.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, strategic Content Strategist to help shape the next phase of Hook’s content engine. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing a content strategy that engages our audience, drives inbound demand, and strengthens Hook’s position as a thought leader in the customer growth space.

Reporting directly to our VP, Customer Growth, you’ll create high-impact content across multiple formats, from whitepapers and reports to blogs, eBooks, newsletters, and social media (including video). You’ll combine creativity and storytelling with analytical thinking and SEO know-how to craft content that doesn’t just attract attention, but delivers measurable business results.

If you’re someone who loves connecting ideas with audience insights, who gets excited about experimenting with new formats and finding fresh ways to tell a story, this is your opportunity to make a visible impact in a fast-growing, collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and evolve our content strategy: shape the narrative and ensure content aligns with our broader marketing and growth goals.

  • Create outstanding content: produce and manage a mix of thought leadership, educational resources, and campaign-driven content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, newsletters, etc.).

  • Optimise everything for SEO: write with both humans and algorithms in mind, ensuring our content is discoverable and impactful.

  • Develop and execute social content plans: craft channel-specific narratives that engage our audience and drive conversations.

  • Write for paid campaigns: deliver compelling copy for paid social and digital ads.

  • Collaborate across teams: work closely with product, sales, and customer teams to uncover insights, stories, and opportunities for new content.

  • Liaise with freelancers: manage external contributors for design, video, and other creative needs.

  • Analyse and report on performance: use tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot to measure content impact and feed learnings back into strategy.

  • Stay plugged into communities: engage in relevant forums and online spaces to build Hook’s visibility and authority.

Who we’re looking for

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for adapting tone and style to different audiences and formats.

  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices for optimisation.

  • Experience using marketing automation tools (HubSpot experience a plus).

  • Strong analytical mindset, you know how to read data and use it to make better creative decisions.

  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
