Role Summary

The Content Marketing Manager will play a critical role in our marketing team, drive organic growth and boost Alto's brand visibility through strategic long-form content and SEO strategies.

In this role, you'll take ownership of on-page and off-page SEO, delivering high-quality, long-form content designed to rank for competitive keywords. With a deep understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing, you'll help position Alto as a leader in the property software market and ensure we compete effectively in search engine results pages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Long-Form Content Creation: Produce and manage engaging, keyword-driven long-form content such as blogs, guides, and case studies.
  • On-Page Optimisation: Enhance content with schema markup, internal linking, and meta tags to improve SEO performance.
  • Content Management: Oversee the content lifecycle using WordPress CMS, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with SEO goals.
  • Keyword Research: Use tools like Google Trends, Moz, and Search Console to identify opportunities and optimize content strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to align content with wider campaign goals and messaging.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, adjusting strategies based on insights to ensure continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in content marketing, with a strong focus on SEO strategy and execution.
  • Demonstrable ability to create high-quality, engaging, and ranking content for competitive keywords.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and platforms like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Google Trends.
  • Expertise in managing content using WordPress CMS.
  • Familiarity with schema markup, on-page SEO tactics, and backlink strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and optimise content performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the SaaS industry or property tech market.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices specific to B2B or software markets.
  • Familiarity with content distribution strategies and integrating content into broader marketing campaigns.
