Hybrid role - 3 days a week in our Tower Bridge office

Who We Are

Zoopla is one of the UK’s most instantly recognisable property brands. In fact, we’re known and loved by over 91% of the nation (and we’re working hard on the other 9%). Our mission is to help the nation make better home decisions - by connecting everyone to their home and giving them personalised insights to help with moving, managing or financing. Over 50 million people visit Zoopla every month to access exclusive data and information on every UK property, search over 500,000 homes for sale and rent, find the best agents and secure the latest mortgage deals.

We’re a growing, dynamic team that embraces innovation and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries. We’re only just starting our journey to redefine the digital property landscape, with much more to explore and achieve. Join us, and transform the way the nation makes home decisions.

What you'll be doing

As a Digital Content Manager at Zoopla, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies tailored to a specific funnel. Your role will be to create compelling, data-driven content that drives audience action and business growth.

You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, CRM, and digital teams to map messaging to user profiles and consumer journeys, ensuring that the most motivating messages are delivered at each touchpoint. Additionally, you will identify areas of friction in the user journey and refine content strategies to improve engagement and conversion.

This is a commercially focussed content role with responsibility for both the volume of sessions (through influencing ECRM/SEO) and onsite copy and content. This role will own the conversion rates through the funnels, reducing abandonment, encouraging repeat usage and ultimately leading a consumer to complete a move goal (or in the case of an estate agent, convert them to contact us to enquire about joining Zoopla).

Responsibilities
  • Create messaging tailored to user profiles and consumer or customer journeys, ensuring the most compelling messages are delivered at each stage.
  • Evaluate content effectiveness at every stage of the user journey and partner with the digital team to address engagement challenges.
  • Work collaboratively to identify areas of friction in funnels, refining messaging and content strategies for your funnel to drive better outcomes.
  • Oversee and create offsite and onsite editorial, ensuring consistent and cohesive content across all platforms.
  • Partner with the CRM team to develop and optimise email content strategies. Messaging will be aligned to the Zoopla tone of voice, be high-converting and enhance retention.
  • Partner with product teams to refine content within user journeys, ensuring they are clear, engaging, and audience-focused.
  • When required, work with product teams to test content with users, iterating based on feedback to maximise impact.
  • Experiment with new content formats and approaches to improve engagement.
  • Partner with performance marketing to craft compelling PPC ad copy that drives conversions and aligns with performance marketing goals.
  • Partner with the SEO team to ensure that all content is SEO-optimised.
  • Conduct audience research, building detailed user profiles to better understand audience types and their motivations.
Skills required
  • Experience working in a digital marketing, content marketing or editorial role.
  • Experience of working with content tools and systems, eg, Contentful or similar, briefing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of copywriting, content marketing, SEO, conversion optimisation, and performance-driven content strategies.
  • Proven ability to map content to specific marketing funnels, aligning with business objectives.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with product, CRM, sales, and digital teams to create targeted, high-impact content.
Where you’ll be

At Zoopla, we embrace hybrid working but emphasise the importance of also spending time together. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely (at home) for two days per week with Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as all-Zoopla days in the office together.

Our home in Tower Bridge is a buzzing hub for collaborative and individual working, with areas to socialise and exercise - within easy reach of London Bridge, Tower Hill and Bermondsey stations. On our doorstep there are plenty of great food spots including a new indoor street food market and landscaped areas to sit by the riverside.

Benefits
  • Our hybrid setup means you’ll join us in the Tower Bridge office 3 days each week
  • 25 days annual leave + additional leave benefits Including extra days for length of service, plus other leave perks
  • Cycle to work and electric car schemes
  • Free Calm App membership
  • Enhanced Parental leave
  • Fertility Treatment Financial Support
  • Group Income Protection and private medical insurance
  • Gym on-site in London
  • 7.5% pension contribution by the company
  • Discretionary annual bonus up to 10% of base salary
