The Content Lead plays an important role in the development and management of the Academy's legal training portfolio. Working with leading practitioners and industry experts, they are responsible for creating high-quality learning experiences that combine practical insight with editorial excellence and support the Academy's continued growth.
This is a varied role that combines content development and project management. The successful candidate will be organised, commercially minded and passionate about professional education, with the ability to identify opportunities, build strong relationships and bring new learning products to market.


Key Responsibilities
  • Research and produce market leading courses that offer practical insight across a range of sectors – including but not limited to, international arbitration, IP and investigations law.
  • Lead and project manage the full lifecycle of your courses, working closely with our in-house editorial teams to ensure content remains market leading and of the highest quality.
  • Acquire and work with world-class faculty to help shape and define courses, aligning editorial quality, commercial objectives and learner needs.
  • Create clear and accurate storyboards for each course,, working closely with our in-house videography team to deliver engaging course content. 
  • Own the learner experience on the LMS, ensuring courses remain up to date, engaging and aligned with learner needs.
  • Manage course development projects from inception to delivery, maintaining project plans, timelines and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
  • Contribute to the course development roadmap, identifying new opportunities and supporting the growth of a scalable portfolio of courses.
  • Write clear, concise and persuasive copy for the marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct meetings with key players in the industry via phone, email and face-to-face to identify and understand market trends, as well as opportunities for future growth

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the Academy effectively to senior industry professionals and faculty.
  • Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of how content and learning products supports business growth.
  • Previous experience in course development or learning product creation is desirable.
  • A degree in Law or equivalent experience within the legal sector is desirable.
  • A proactive self-starter, able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
